Joshua Krefetz specializes in commercial and residential landlord-tenant law, and real estate, including litigation.

Joshua Krefetz has established a record of successful, rigorous legal representation of members of the Boston community. He is known for his strong work on behalf of landlords and other real estate clients. He aggressively defends his clients against counterclaims, and is comfortable on both offense and defense.

Prior to partnering with John Seed to found Krefetz & Seed (now Krefetz, Seed & Chan), Joshua defended the rights of poor and disadvantaged members of the community at the Boston College Legal Assistance Bureau. A tireless litigator, he served as a counselor and advocate for families and individuals struggling to manage the everyday necessities of life. Joshua achieved successful resolutions in cases spanning a broad range of legal challenges, which were often closely intertwined with clients’ health and financial difficulties.

During law school, Joshua honed his courtroom skills as a Student Prosecutor for the Middlesex District Attorney’s office. In this role, he successfully disposed of over one hundred misdemeanor and felony cases in Ayer District Court.

Prior to law school, Joshua worked for four years at the United Nations in New York City. During that time, he was responsible for gathering and analyzing diplomatic and political intelligence. Through his training and experience at the U.N., Joshua honed the skills and ethic he exercises in every case, with a focus on facts, evidence, and defense of his clients’ rights.

Joshua gives his personal attention to each of his clients, and he prides himself in the persistence and zeal with which he represents their interests.
